Areas of interest.
Undoubtedly, you must all go to the Cathedral, and, luckily, you will live an incredible ceremony there! The surroundings of La Giralda and the Cathedral are particularly charming; you can walk around the Reales Alcázares – a set of palaces which have been built in different eras and which offer spectacular interiors and beautiful outside patios! The Archivo de Indias is another centrally-located historical building, highly worth visiting! The Torre del Oro, old defensive fortress of the city, can also be visited. We recommend you walk on the banks of the Guadalquivir River and if you feel like it, we suggest taking a boat trip, which will be a very pleasant and unforgettable experience. To enjoy panoramic views, in addition to climbing the Giralda Tower, you may wish to visit the famous “Setas de Sevilla” complex, which reveals the essence and beautiful views of Sevilla, and make sure to enjoy a fresh drink at the bar… your body will certainly appreciate it! You should not leave Seville without visiting some of its beautiful churches such as the Basilica de la Esperanza Macarena, the Church of El Salvador, the Church of San Lorenzo, the Basilica of Jesus del Gran Poder, and the Church of San Antonio de Abad. We also recommend that you cross the Triana bridge and check out the Calle Betis and visit the Chapel of the Sailors, the Parish of Santa Ana, the Chapel of the Star ... and the list could go on and on!
Sevillian Gastronomy
There are several very typical and well-known bodeguitas all over the city where the Sevillians themselves spend their free time. You can take a walk around the Arenal neighbourhood, the bullfighting arena “La Maestranza” and enjoy a stop at different bodeguitas and bars in the area. You can also visit the Triana Market where you will find charming corners to taste different varieties of tapas; Barranco Market is another well-known market where you will find some really cool corners. If you want to sit in a restaurant and be more relaxed, we recommend you go to Mariatrifulca, where you will also enjoy incredible views of Seville. We recommend you book a table on the upper terrace for dinner, if possible.
Time for tapas!
